Verna Mustico peacefully passed away on Sept. 11, 2024 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Peter Mustico who passed away in 2019. Born in Oklahoma on Sept. 3 1933, Verna moved to Vallejo in 1950. Together they built a life with love for each other and their community. Their bond remains a cherished memory for all that knew them. Verna was the Broker/Owner of Mustico Realty and Mustico Realty Property Management for over 40 years where she earned the respect and admiration of many. Throughout her life she was dedicated to her community in which she served, and her commitment to the people of Vallejo for over 60 years attest to this dedication. Verna was truly involved in Vallejo and was a pivotal part of many organizations. She was a member of the Solano Association of Realtors, Vallejo Rotary Club, Vallejo Chamber of Commerce, Vallejo Symphony, Salvation Army Advisory Board, Touro University, Vallejo Planning Commission, Vallejo Elks, Vallejo Redevelopment Commission, Vallejo Lions, Soroptimist International, Vallejo Fire Dept., JFK Library, Sons of Italy. Verna also spearheaded the drive to raise funds to build the Sutter Solano Hospital Helipad and the East Wing of the Hospital and many more. Verna is survived by her two daughters Debbie Mustico-Morgan and Sandy Mustico, and son-in-law Thom Morgan. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who were all her favorites and the light of her life. Verna’s legacy extends beyond her professional achievements, she will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and positive impact she had on all she met. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Arrangements entrusted to the direction and care of Skyview Memorial, 707-644-7474. A viewing will be held Friday September 20th from 3-7 PM & services will be held Sunday September 22nd at 11:00 AM at Skyview Memorial, 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo. A Celebration of Life will follow the services and held at USA World Classics Event Center, 1521 Sonoma Blvd, in Vallejo.
